What I offer
To support you and work with you to help you resolve the issues you face I offer Coaching and Mediation services as well as facilitating Behavioural Change within organisations:
Mediation
Mediation has become recognized over the last 20-plus years as an effective way to solve disputes without going to court. Both of the parties who feel aggrieved need to be able to have their views heard and work with each other to come to a resolution which addresses each of their needs. Effective listening and a process which attends to constructive settlement is enormously empowering and releasing. The presence of an effective, trained Mediator provides a safe environment through which to engage both parties in order to reach a settlement. The mediation is typically a full day with preparatory work ahead of the joint session.
I am qualified to mediate in the Workplace – for example with disputes across teams or individuals – and in Civil cases – for example with disputes which can range from neighbour disagreements to differing desired outcomes from a particular situation.
Coaching
Individual and Team coaching is an effective way to identify and clarify blocks and how to unblock issues emerging for an individual or for a team. For example in:
- Managing time
- Enhancing levels of confidence
- Increasing effective communication skills
- Managing conflict
- Building resilience
- Understanding others
- Identifying different national cultural ways of working
- Working effectively as a Team
Behavioural Change
Changing behaviours in organisations as a whole or in stand-alone teams requires consistency across values and their underpinning required ways of working, rewards and communication processes.
It takes focus, effort, staff engagement and commitment to reach the desired outcome.
I have designed and implemented successful culture change programmes for large multi-national companies and smaller organisations in the public and not-for-profit sectors. I was the European Lead and Global Lead for Culture Change in PwC Consulting and IBM respectively.

I am fully aware that seeking support in mediation or coaching or changing a team or an organisation’s culture takes insight into the need and courage to act on that need. The way I work is to build on both by offering approaches and skills, through dialogue, engagement and trust, that can partner well with the knowledge that you bring about a particular situation or organisation and about which I could never hope to understand as fully as you do.
Online and Face to Face
I work online via Zoom and Face to Face, as suits the situation.
Contracting
Before we would start work together it is important for you to feel comfortable with me and the way I work. So I offer an initial session before then agreeing what you want and need.
To ensure that there is awareness of the way we will then work together, including complete confidentiality, I always ask for a contract to be signed by all those involved, prior to our sessions starting.
To support the best results for you I have a very skilled supervisor who is also bound by complete confidentiality in the work we discuss.
